i got a 2-11-1/2 male npt port already. does this adapter let me hook up a female swivel on the other side without fighting the alignment

With this 2045 Series straight adapter you get a 2-11-1/2 female NPSM internal pipe swivel on one end and a 2-11-1/2 male NPTF external pipe on the other. The swivel side is meant to make hookup easier when you need the female end to rotate for alignment while the male NPTF threads into your port.

what industries is this adapter actually built for? seen a lot of generic stuff but wondering if this one's rated for anything tougher
