got a line with 1-11-1/2 female swivel threads, will this mate up to a 1-11-1/2 male pipe end without any funny business

With matching 1-11-1/2 threads on both ends, it’s set up as a straight pipe-to-pipe adapter with a 1 inch female NPSM swivel on one side and a 1 inch male NPTF on the other.

got a hose end with a female pipe swivel on it already. is this the straight adapter that’ll go from 1-11-1/2 female swivel to 1-11-1/2 male npt?

For that setup, you’re looking at the right style. The 2045-16-16S is a straight steel adapter with a 1-11-1/2 female NPSM internal pipe swivel on one side and a 1-11-1/2 male NPT (NPTF external pipe) on the other.
