Will this adapter work for connecting a pressure gauge with a 3/4-14 male NPT to a hydraulic pump that has a 1-11-1/2 female NPT swivel port?

This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is designed to connect exactly those two sizes – a 1-11/12 female NPT swivel to a 3/4-14 male NPT. So, yes it should do the trick.

trying to swap out an old fitting, is this one the straight adapter that goes from a 1-11-1/2 female swivel to a 3/4-14 male npt?

The key identifiers on this adapter are the ends and thread callouts. It is a straight steel adapter with a 1-11-1/2 female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) on one side and a 3/4-14 male NPT (NPTF external pipe) on the other.

That's exactly what it's built for. The 2045 Series from Eaton Aeroquip connects a 1-11-1/2 NPSM female swivel on one side to a 3/4-14 male NPT on the other, in a straight configuration. The swivel end gives you a little rotational flexibility during installation, which makes fitting into tight or awkward hydraulic connections a lot easier than a fixed connection would.
