got a tight spot on a line, is this the kind of fitting that lets me make a 90 without fighting the hose

For tight routing, it’s a 90 degree elbow adapter that turns the line while keeping NPT pipe threads on both ends. One side is a female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) and the other side is a male NPT (NPTF external pipe), so it’s meant to help you change direction and still mate into standard pipe-thread ports.
