trying to hook a 3/8 female swivel up to a 1/2 male pipe thread, but i need it kicked over at 45 degrees. is that what this adapter is?

Function-wise, it is a 45 degree elbow adapter that goes from a 3/8-18 female NPT swivel end (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) over to a 1/2-14 male NPT end (NPTF external pipe).
