Got a tee fitting situation where the branch side needs a swivel connection but the run stays fixed male JIC. This the right part for that setup?

Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting handles. The branch port is a 1-5/8-12 female JIC 37 degree flare with a swivel, so it can rotate during assembly without twisting the hose or line connected to it. The run ports are 1-5/8-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, fixed. Steel construction from Eaton Aeroquip, so it holds up well in hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing lines. If your layout needs that branch to have rotational freedom at makeup, this tee fits the bill.
