Product Questions & Answers

trying to hook a #8 female JIC line up to a #10 male JIC port, is this the right straight adapter?
Question by: Shawn Y on Jul 13, 2025, 6:37 AM
For that mix, yes. It’s a straight 37° JIC flare union adapter with a 3/4-16 female JIC on one side and a 7/8-14 male JIC on the other.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 female JIC, will this adapter let me step up to a 7/8-14 male JIC on the other side?

For hooking two JIC 37 degree flare connections together, this part bridges a 3/4-16 female JIC flare on one end to a 7/8-14 male JIC flare on the other, in a straight adapter.

got a 3/4-16 female JIC end on my hydraulic line and need to step up to a 7/8-14 male JIC connection. this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Troy S on Nov 10, 2025, 3:30 PM
That's what this one's built for. The female end threads onto a 3/4-16 JIC fitting and the male end connects to a 7/8-14 JIC port, both running that standard 37-degree flare seat. No thread sealant needed either, so you're not adding extra steps to the job. Both sides seal on the flare itself, which is how JIC fittings are supposed to work.
