what's the thread size difference between the female and male ends on this adapter? trying to figure out if it'll work where i need it

The female end is 1-5/16-12 JIC and the male end is 1-5/8-12 JIC, both with the standard 37 degree flare seat. So you're stepping up in size from female to male. Both sides share the same thread pitch at 12 threads per inch, just different diameters. It's a straight-body configuration, so there's no angle change in the line routing.
