Product Questions & Answers

If I'm running a heavy spiral hose, will this adapter hold up without leaking?
Question by: Dwight S on May 7, 2025, 6:05 PM
This adapter is designed to handle the pressures associated with up to 4 heavy spiral hoses, providing a secure and reliable connection in demanding hydraulic systems.

got a tight spot on a hose run, is this the kind of 90 degree adapter that’ll help me turn the corner without kinking things up?
Question by: Phil E on Jan 1, 2026, 7:20 PM
For tight routing, the 90 degree bent tube gives you a right angle change in direction while keeping JIC 37 degree flare connections on both ends. It is a 1-5/16-12 female JIC 37 flare swivel on one side to a 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 flare on the other, so it is meant to make that turn and still seal on the flare.

Got a tight spot on a loader where the hose line has to make a hard turn coming off the valve bank. Would this 90-degree adapter handle that kind of setup, or am I better off looking at something else?
Question by: Stan M on Feb 4, 2026, 2:28 PM
For routing lines through cramped quarters where a straight fitting just won't clear, a 90-degree bent tube adapter like this one is exactly what gets the job done. The geometry lets you redirect flow without having to force the hose into a sharp bend, which puts unnecessary stress on the hose and fittings over time. Both ends run 1-5/16-12 JIC 37-degree flare, so as long as your valve bank and hose end match that thread and flare spec, it should fit right in.
