Got a line running 1-1/4 inch NPT female on one end and need to tie into a JIC 37 degree flare fitting that's 1-5/8-12, this adapter gonna bridge that gap straight through?

That's exactly what this one's built for. The 2242-20-20S connects a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPT port to a 1-5/8-12 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel, straight configuration. It's a Danfoss/Eaton Aeroquip 2242 series piece, all steel, so it holds up well in demanding line work. The swivel end gives you some rotational flexibility during assembly, which makes getting everything torqued down without twisting the line a lot easier.
