trying to split one 1/4 npt line into two, is this the right tee or am i lookin at the wrong thing

For a simple split, this part is a tee adapter with NPTF internal pipe threads on all three ports. It is sized 1/4-18 female NPT, so it matches 1/4-18 male NPT connections.

what all can this tee adapter be used for? grease lines, hydraulic, or just one or the other?
