got a setup where i need a tee with all three ports female pipe thread. is this one actually female NPT on every leg?

All three ends on this adapter are NPTF internal pipe threads. It is a tee style adapter in the Danfoss/Eaton 2090 series with female NPTF on each port.

What all can this tee adapter be used for, or is it just for hydraulics?

Grease systems, instrumentation lines, and most hydraulic systems are all fair game for this fitting. The 1-1/2-11-1/2 NPTF thread runs on all three ports, so wherever you need to split a line at that pipe size with female NPT connections, this adapter covers it.

this adapter is made from steel, so it's gonna hold up well in most hydraulic applications.
