Got a fitting spot where both ends are female NPT half-inch threads. Will this adapter connect them straight through without needing any reducers or extra pieces?

For a female-to-female inline connection at 1/2-14 NPT on both sides, this is exactly the piece you'd reach for. Both ports are internal pipe thread at that same size, so it bridges two male-threaded lines or fittings in a straight run without any additional hardware in between.

Yes, that's exactly what this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is for. It's a straight adapter with 1/2-14 female NPT threads on both ends, so it will couple those two fittings.

For joining two 1/2-14 male NPT ends, this adapter is the straight female to female piece. Both sides are 1/2-14 female NPT, so it threads onto two matching 1/2-14 male NPT connections.
