Just wanna make sure, this here adapter will go from a pipe thread to an O-ring boss, right? Both female ends?

That's correct. This Eaton Aeroquip adapter has a 3/8-18 female NPT swivel on one end and a 3/8-18 female NPT on the other. It's a straight adapter for connecting those two different types of connections.
