got a hose end that’s 1/2-14 female npt swivel, and the other side needs 3/8-18 female npt. is this the straight adapter for that?

Got a line running 1/2 inch NPT female and need to step it down to 3/8 female NPT on the other end. This the right piece for that?

That's what this adapter is built for. One end is a 1/2-14 female NPT swivel and the other is a 3/8-18 female NPT, so you're connecting two female NPT ports of different sizes in a straight run. The swivel on the larger end gives you a little wiggle room during installation, which helps a lot when the fitting isn't sitting at a perfect angle coming off the line.

that's the deal. It's a steel adapter that goes from a 1/2-14 female NPT swivel to a 3/8-18 female NPT connection.
