trying to hook up two 1/4 npt female ends but need to turn the line 90 degrees, is that what this fitting does

Function-wise, it is a 90 degree elbow adapter with 1/4-18 female NPT on one side and a 1/4-18 female NPT swivel (NPSM internal pipe swivel style) on the other, so it’s meant for making a right-angle connection between two 1/4-18 female threaded ports.
