Will this here fitting work with standard BSPP fittings I already got?

It sure will. This Adaptall adapter's made to connect directly to other 3/8-19 female BSPP swivel fittings.

Trying to hook two hoses together that are both 3/8-19 BSPP female swivels, is this the right union for that

For a straight female to female swivel connection, this union matches 3/8-19 female BSPP swivel on both ends. It is meant to join two BSPP swivel ends while giving you a little freedom to line things up without putting twist stress on the connection.
