Trying to replace a little plug on a BSPP port, is this the one with G 1/8 male threads?
Question by: Wes R on Nov 13, 2025, 4:19 PM
Match it up by thread callout and style. This adapter is a steel plug with a G 1/8 male BSPP (British Parallel) thread, with End Size listed as 0.125 and End Type as BSPP.

Hey, will this plug hold up if it gets exposed to hydraulic fluid all the time?
Question by: Glen F on May 2, 2025, 6:29 PM
This steel adapter is designed to resist wear and corrosion, which should make it suitable for continuous exposure to hydraulic fluids in demanding industrial environments.

Thread on this thing is G 1/8 BSPP, that's the British parallel style right? Just want to make sure it'll mate up proper with my existing fittings before I order.
Question by: Brenda J on Oct 29, 2025, 9:22 AM
Yeah, G 1/8 refers to the British Standard Parallel Pipe thread, so as long as your mating port or fitting is also BSPP on the female side, you should get a solid connection. Both ends on this adapter are BSPP, and the thread size comes in at 0.125 inches. Worth double-checking your existing fittings are parallel and not tapered, since BSPP and BSPT are not interchangeable.
