Got a 1-1/4 inch hose I need to tie into a 1 inch male pipe thread fitting, this the right part for that?

That's what this nipple is built for. One end accepts a 1-1/4 inch hose barb connection and the other end is a 1 inch male NPT thread, so it bridges those two sizes without needing an adapter in between. Dixon makes solid fittings for industrial work, and this one carries part number STC-1510 if you need to cross-reference it anywhere.

It has a 1-1/4" hose barb that connects to a 1" male pipe thread.
