What size range does this clamp cover? Just want to make sure it'll fit my hose.

clamp says 3.25 to 3.50 range, does that mean it won't adjust past 3.50, or is that just the recommended sweet spot?

That's the full working range of the clamp, not just a suggestion. It's built to fit hose or tubing with an inside diameter between 3.25 and 3.50 inches, and that's where it performs correctly.
