What size range of hoses will this clamp fit? I need to make sure it's gonna work for what I got.

This clamp is designed to fit hoses with an outside diameter between 2.41 and 2.72 inches. It's always a good idea to measure your hose to be sure.

got a hose that measures right around 2.6 inches across, is this clamp in the right ballpark or am i gonna be fighting it

The working diameter range on this clamp is 2.4063 inches minimum up to 2.7188 inches maximum. A hose around 2.6 inches falls inside that range, so it should clamp down without having to force it.

clamp says 2.41 to 2.72 inch diameter range, got a hose sitting right around 2.63 inches, reckon this one'll cinch up on it proper?

Right in the middle of the range, so you're in good shape. The clamp runs from 2.41 to 2.72 inches, and 2.63 sits comfortably within that. The 0.75-inch band width gives you solid contact across the hose, and with a max torque of 70 in. lbs. on that hex T-bolt, you can get a firm, even seal without overdoing it.
