got a 5/8 tube line i need to terminate with a JIC connection, will this nut work for that?

For 5/8 inch OD tubing with a JIC 37 degree flare connection, yes this is the right piece. The J10N is a stainless steel flare nut built specifically for 0.63 inch tube OD and it threads onto a 7/8-14 JIC male fitting.
