what's the thread sizes on this bushing again? need to go from a quarter inch pipe down to an eighth and just want to make sure i got the right part before i order

You've got the right one. The male end is 1/4-18 NPT and the female end is 1/8-27 NPT, so it steps down exactly like you're describing.
