trying to replace a stainless 90 degree JIC swivel on my teflon hose. is this one the -04 size with the 7/16-20 female JIC?

How tight should I make the JIC fitting when putting this together? Don't want to strip it.

It's important to get the JIC fitting snug to ensure a good seal, but over-tightening can definitely cause damage. A good rule of thumb is to tighten it by hand until it's snug, then use a wrench to turn it another 1/6 to 1/4 of a turn.
