Got a tight spot in a stainless line where I need to make a 90-degree turn, this a street elbow style fitting or does it need another piece to make the connection?

Street elbow is exactly what it is. One end is male NPT and the other is female NPT, both 1-inch 11-1/2 TPI, so it threads directly into a female fitting on one side and accepts a male fitting on the other without needing a coupler or extra adapter in between. That inline male-to-female configuration is what makes it a street elbow. Overall length comes in at 1.97 inches, so it stays pretty compact even with the 90-degree angle built in.
