What size is this tee fitting? Just want to make sure it'll fit in the space I have.

It's got a compact design, with the A dimension at 1.25 inches and the M dimension at 1.06 inches. The tube OD is 0.38 inches.

fitting's got a 0.38 tube OD listed, does that mean it'll connect up to 3/8 inch tubing on the branch side?

For a tee like this one, the 0.38 inch outer diameter corresponds to 3/8 inch tubing on the branch connection. The run ports use 9/16-18 JIC male and female swivel threads with a 37 degree flare seat, so as long as your line fittings match that spec, everything should line up clean without any adapter gymnastics.
