Got a tight bend in a hydraulic line where a straight fitting just ain't gonna cut it, would this elbow work if the tube OD on my end is 0.63 inches?

Yeah, that tube OD is exactly what this fitting is built around. The 0.63-inch outer diameter is the specified tube size, so if your line matches that, the connection should seat properly on both ends. Both sides run 7/8-14 thread with a 37-degree flare, so as long as your mating fittings follow JIC spec, you're in good shape for that 90-degree turn.

trying to swap out an elbow on a JIC line, is this one 7/8-14 on both ends and still a 37 degree flare?

For a 90 degree turn with JIC flare connections, it matches 7/8-14 male JIC 37 degree flare on one side and 7/8-14 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on the other. Both ends are JIC 37 degree flare style, just one is male and the other is a female swivel.
