What's the thread size on both ends of this adapter, and are they the same?
Question by: Jerry A on May 17, 2025, 7:39 PM
Both ends run 3/4-16 threads, but the connection types are different. One end is a Male SAE O-Ring Boss, which uses a straight thread with an o-ring seal, and the other is a Male JIC 37 degree flare. Same thread pitch, two different sealing methods, so you can bridge those two fitting types without any reducers or extra pieces in between.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 ORB and I need to land it on a 3/4-16 JIC, is this the right adapter?
Question by: Rod W on Oct 21, 2025, 9:00 PM
You’re matching the right connection types if you need 3/4-16 male SAE O-Ring Boss on one side and 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other. This one is a straight stainless adapter with those exact male ends.
