got a port on my hydraulic block that's SAE O-Ring Boss and need to tie into a JIC line, this the right adapter to make that happen?
Question by: Scott M on Jul 28, 2025, 12:07 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is a 7/8-14 Male SAE O-Ring Boss, the other is a 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 degree flare, so it bridges those two fitting standards in a straight configuration. Both threads are the same size here, which keeps things clean and direct without any reducers or extra fittings in between. It's stainless steel, so corrosion in rougher environments won't be much of a concern either.

Just makin' sure... this here adapter fits a 7/8-14 male SAE O-ring boss to a 7/8-14 male JIC 37 degree flare, right?

That's correct. It's designed to connect those two specific types of fittings, makin' it handy for hydraulic systems needing that conversion.
