got a hose end that’s 1-1/16-12 JIC for 3/4 tube, will this elbow mate up and give me an ORB male on the other side?
Question by: Rod G on Nov 2, 2025, 11:33 AM
It converts between the two styles at the same 1-1/16-12 thread size. One end is a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare that matches 3/4 inch OD tubing on the JIC side, and the other end is a 1-1/16-12 male SAE O-ring boss for an ORB port.

Will this fitting work with regular ol' 3/4 inch tubing?

it's made to work with 3/4-inch OD tubing on the JIC side.

Got a hydraulic line that needs to make a 90-degree turn where the ORB port meets up with a JIC fitting, both running 1-1/16-12 threads. This the right piece for that?

For that exact situation, yeah, this adapter is what you want. One end is a Male SAE O-Ring Boss using a straight thread O-ring seal, and the other end is a Male JIC 37-degree flare. Both ends run 1-1/16-12 thread, so the sizing lines up on both sides. The 90-degree elbow handles the direction change right at the connection point, which keeps you from having to force a bent tube into a straight fitting. The JIC side seats metal-to-metal at the 37-degree flare and is sized for 3/4-inch OD tubing. Whole thing is stainless steel, so it holds up where corrosion is a concern.
