What's the tube size this fitting's built for, and does the elbow angle work for tight routing situations?

Built around a 0.25 inch tube OD, so you're working with quarter-inch tubing on both ends. The 45-degree elbow gives you a moderate change in direction without the sharp turn of a 90-degree, which makes it handy when you've got limited clearance and need to route a line without kinking or stressing the tube. Both thread ends are 7/16-20, one side being the SAE O-ring boss for a leak-resistant straight thread connection, and the other side finishing with the JIC 37-degree flare for a standard mechanical seal. That combination covers a lot of common hydraulic hydraulic connections setups.
