trying to hook a 3/8-18 NPT port up to a 1/4 inch JIC line, is this the right adapter?
Question by: Hugh M on Jul 1, 2025, 9:17 PM
For that kind of changeover, it matches up as 3/8-18 male NPT on one end and 7/16-20 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, and it’s sized for 0.25 inch tube O.D. on the JIC side.

got a line running 3/8 NPT male and need to tie into a JIC 37 flare fitting on the other end, this straight adapter do the trick?

That's what this one's built for. One end is 3/8-18 male NPT and the other is 7/16-20 male JIC 37-degree flare, straight configuration. Both ends are male, so you'll want female counterparts on each side of your connection. No thread sealant is required on this adapter, which cuts down on prep time during install.
