got a 3/4 NPT male port on a hydraulic block and need to tie into a JIC line, this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Lyle B on Mar 15, 2026, 8:41 AM
Yeah, that's exactly the crossover this fitting handles. One end is 3/4-14 male NPT, the other is 1-1/16-12 male JIC with a 37 degree flare seat. If your hose end or tube fitting is a female JIC 37 degree, you're set. Just make sure you're threading the NPT side into a female NPT port and your JIC connection is the mating female end, since both threads on this adapter are male.

Will this here fitting work to connect a 3/4 NPT pipe to a 1 1/16 JIC hydraulic hose?

It's designed to adapt a 3/4-14 male NPT (pipe thread) to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37-degree flare fitting.

trying to replace an old fitting, is this the straight adapter that goes from 3/4-14 male NPT over to 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37 flare?

For a straight male-to-male adapter, this one matches those thread callouts: 3/4-14 male NPT on one end and 1-1/16-12 male JIC with a 37 degree flare on the other.

got a 3/4 NPT male fitting on a hydraulic line and need to connect it to a JIC 37 degree flare port, will this adapter get that done in a straight run?
Question by: Shane P on Jan 22, 2026, 8:42 PM
Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting handles. One end is 3/4-14 male NPT and the other is 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight inline configuration. No angled routing needed, just a direct connection between the two.
