got two hoses with 3/4-16 jic ends, i just need a straight coupler between em. is this the right piece?

For joining two 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 degree flare ends in a straight run, this adapter is the right style. It is a straight union with 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare on both sides, so it seals metal to metal at each flare seat.

So this thing is made of stainless steel? Just makin' sure it won't rust on me.

That's right, this adapter is constructed from 316 stainless steel, which offers excellent resistance to corrosion, especially against chlorides. It's a good choice where regular steel just won't hold up.

got a line that needs a male JIC on both ends joined up, this the right piece for that?
Question by: Freddie B on Feb 25, 2026, 9:52 AM
That's what this adapter is built for. It connects two 3/4-16 male JIC 37-degree flare fittings in a straight run, acting as a union between them. Both ends seat with a metal-to-metal flare contact, so you get a solid seal without needing any additional sealing compound. Works with 1/2-inch OD tubing and measures 1.62 inches overall, so it fits into standard JIC hydraulic line setups without any reworking.
