Got a metric port on my pump housing and need to tie into some NPT fittings downstream, will this adapter handle that kind of crossover without needing anything extra in between?

Straight shot, one fitting. The M14 x 1.5 male end threads into your metric port and the 1/4-18 NPTF female end accepts a standard NPT male fitting, so you're bridging those two thread standards in a single piece. No additional adapters or custom fab work needed to make that connection.
