got a -12 Aeroquip hose, does this socket fit the 2807-12 and FC807-12 or am i lookin at the wrong one

Both, actually. The FC3596-12C is spec'd to work with either the 2807-12 or the FC807-12 hose in the -12 size. It's a stainless steel flat crimp socket, so as long as you're running one of those two hose part numbers at that size, you're in the right place.
