Got a 3/4 female JIC line coming off a pump and need to step it down to a 1/2 male JIC connection on a valve block. This the right part for that?
Question by: Frank B on Dec 17, 2025, 9:25 PM
That's what this reducer is built for. It's got a 3/4-16 female JIC 37-degree flare on one end and a 1/2-inch male JIC 37-degree flare on the other, so it bridges that size difference in a straight inline configuration. Stainless steel construction means it'll hold up well in environments where corrosion is a concern, and the 37-degree flare geometry on both ends gives you a reliable seal when everything's torqued down properly.

trying to hook a 1/2 inch tube line into a 3/4-16 JIC port, is this the right reducer?

For tying a 0.5 inch tube O.D. JIC 37 degree flare connection into a 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare, this straight stainless adapter is the right style. It is a female JIC flare on one end and a 3/4-16 male JIC flare on the other.
