got a 1/8-27 female NPT port on one side and need to land a JIC line, is this the right adapter for a 7/16-20 male JIC?
Question by: Connie P on Jun 15, 2025, 3:52 PM
For connecting a 1/8-27 female NPT thread to a 7/16-20 male JIC 37° flare, that’s exactly what this straight adapter is built to do.

got a 1/4 inch OD tube line coming off a small hydraulic gauge port, will this adapter work for connecting it to a 1/8 NPT female fitting on the gauge?
Question by: Dale H on Feb 17, 2026, 9:41 PM
For 1/4 inch OD tubing running to a JIC 37 degree flare connection, this is exactly the right fit. The male JIC end is a 7/16-20 thread sized for 1/4 inch OD tubing, and the female NPT end is 1/8-27, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight configuration. Just make sure your tube end is properly flared at 37 degrees before seating it.

So, this is stainless steel, right? I need somethin' that won't rust on me.

That's right, this adapter is made from 316 stainless steel, so it's designed for corrosion resistance.
