trying to swap out an elbow on a hydraulic line, is this one the 3/4-14 female npt over to 1-1/16-12 male jic 37 flare?

Match the ends and you are on the right track: one side is 3/4-14 female NPT, and the other side is 1-1/16-12 male JIC with a 37 degree flare. It is a 90 degree elbow adapter, so it turns the connection at a right angle instead of staying straight.

So this elbow fitting goes from a 3/4 inch female NPT to a 1 and 1/16 inch male JIC, right? Just makin' sure I got that straight.

That's correct. It adapts from a 3/4-14 female NPT thread to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37-degree flare.

Got a pump port threaded 3/4-14 NPT and need to tie into a JIC hose line running 1-1/16-12. Would this elbow make that connection work?
Question by: Frank M on Jan 18, 2026, 4:48 PM
That's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end threads into your 3/4-14 NPT port, and the other end is a 1-1/16-12 male JIC 37-degree flare, so it'll mate up with a standard JIC female swivel on your hose. The 90-degree angle handles the direction change right at the port, which keeps you from having to bend the hose tight or fight a straight adapter in a cramped space.
