Reckon this cap will hold up if it gets splashed with chemicals sometimes?

got a 6 inch camlock hookup, is this the dust cap that fits the standard stuff everybody uses?

It is made to interchange with cam and groove products built to A-A-59326 (the standard that replaced MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828, so it matches other couplings made to those same standards in the 6 inch size.
