temperature range on this thing -- does urethane hold up if the system runs pretty warm?

Urethane holds up well in most standard hydraulic setups. The material is rated from -65°F all the way up to 220°F, so it handles typical industrial operating temps without issue. If your system runs hotter than that, Hercules does offer a fluorocarbon version of this style that's rated up to 400°F, though the lower end on fluorocarbon starts at -20°F rather than -65°F.
