Designed for challenging environments, this wiper ring is made from high-quality urethane, which offers good resistance to many common shop chemicals and hydraulic fluids.

Urethane handles a solid range, from -65°F on the cold end up to 220°F on the high side. For most industrial and agricultural applications, that covers just about everything you'd throw at it. If you're running sustained temps above that 220°F mark, you'd want to look at a fluorocarbon version instead, but for general tough-condition use, urethane holds up well within that window.
