Built from SS 316 stainless steel, this camlock handles corrosive environments better than lower grades of stainless. The 316 alloy has added molybdenum in the mix, which gives it stronger resistance to chlorides and harsh chemicals compared to 304. For wet or chemically aggressive conditions, it's a solid choice.
