trying to hook a 3/4-16 UNF JIC hose end up to an M18 x 1.5 DIN tube connection. is that what this adapter’s for?

Built to bridge those two standards, it has a 3/4 - 16 UNF male JIC on one side and an M18 x 1.5 male DIN 2353 light series tube connection on the other, in a straight configuration.
