Got a piece of equipment with a G 1/2-14 port on it and need to tie into a JIC line, this straight swivel gonna work for that?

That's the kind of situation this fitting handles. One end is a 1/2" male JIC on a 3/4-16 UNF thread, and the other is a 1/2" female BSPP with a G 1/2-14 thread. The swivel on the BSPP end lets it rotate during installation so you're not putting twist into your hydraulic line trying to make it seat right. Straight configuration, no angle, so it works best when your port and your line are lined up direct.

For a straight thread match-up, it fits a 1/2 inch male JIC on one side with 3/4 to 16 UNF threads, and a 1/2 inch female BSPP on the other with G 1/2 to 14 threads. It is made to bridge those two connection types directly.
