got a line running BSPP on one end and JIC on the other, this swivel gonna bridge that gap without needing extra fittings in between?

That's what it's built for. One side is a 9/16-18 UNF male JIC, the other is a G 3/8-19 female BSPP, so it connects those two thread standards directly. Both sides are 3/8" size, and the straight profile keeps things clean without adding unnecessary bulk. At 39.3mm long it's compact enough to fit into tight hydraulic connections runs without a lot of fuss.

On the JIC side, you are looking at a 9/16 - 18 UNF male JIC connection (3/8 inch size). The other end of the adapter is a G 3/8 - 19 female BSPP swivel, so it is meant to join a JIC connection to a BSPP connection.
