fitting is stainless steel 316, but what thread type is on the NPT end exactly? need to know if it's NPTF or just standard NPT before I order.

The female NPT side uses a 1/4"-18 NPTF thread. NPTF is a dry-seal thread form, so it's designed to hold pressure without relying solely on sealant. That said, most folks still apply thread tape or sealant as a precaution depending on the application.

Just want to make sure this fits... I got a metric DIN tube that's M14 x 1.5, and need to hook it up to a 1/4" female NPT. Will this do the trick?
