Product Questions & Answers

Got a line coming off a British-made pump with BSPT ports and I need to tie into a JIC fitting on an American manifold. Will a 90-degree elbow like this actually handle that crossover, or am I going to need an adapter in between?
Question by: Bonnie P on Jan 8, 2026, 8:11 PM
That crossover is exactly what this fitting handles. One end is 3/8" male JIC running on 9/16-18 UNF threads, and the other is 3/8" male BSPT on R 3/8-19 threads. No intermediate adapter needed. The 90-degree angle also means you can redirect the line right at the connection point instead of running extra hose to make the turn.

So, this thing’s got different threads on each end? I wanna make sure I’m gettin’ it right.
Question by: Todd G on Oct 10, 2025, 12:53 PM
Exactly. It’s designed with a male JIC (9/16 - 18 UNF) connection on one side and a male BSPT (R 3/8 - 19) on the other, both 3/8".

trying to hook a 3/8 JIC hose end to a 3/8 BSPT port with a tight turn, is this the right elbow?
Question by: Ralph S on May 4, 2025, 6:16 AM
For that kind of hookup, it matches a 3/8 inch male JIC on one side with 9/16-18 UNF threads, and a 3/8 inch male BSPT on the other with R 3/8-19 threads. It’s a 90 degree elbow meant to change direction while adapting between those two thread types.
