Reckon this would work for hooking up a pressure gauge to my hydraulic pump?

This adapter is designed to connect a 1/4" male NPT thread to a 1/4" female BSPP thread, which could work for your pressure gauge if those are the connections you're dealing with.

got a piece of equipment here with a BSPP port and the rest of the system runs NPT, this the kind of fitting that bridges those two?

Exactly what this adapter is built for. One end is 1/4" male NPT (1/4-18 NPTF) and the other is 1/4" female BSPP (G 1/4-19), so it connects those two thread standards directly without needing additional components. got a valve block with a 1/4-18 nptf port and the hose end is g 1/4-19 female. is this the right little adapter to marry those up?

For that exact thread mix, yes. One side is 1/4 inch male NPTF (1/4-18) and the other side is 1/4 inch female BSPP (G 1/4-19), so it is meant to transition between NPT and BSPP in a straight adapter.
