Got a hydraulic line running BSPP fittings on one end and NPT on the other, will this adapter actually bridge them two without needing extra stuff in between?

For tying two thread styles together, it converts a male BSPP on Side 1 (G 1/8 - 28) over to a female NPTF on Side 2 (1/4 - 18).
